Day 83 - No Work

No work the last two days.  Called my FM and got a voicemail that he is out 11/5-11/10.  I'll touch base with him on 11/11.

Day 81 - Drywall Day 2

They finished dry-walling everything but the outside of the downstairs bathroom.  I'm pretty sure that it's supposed to be done but we'll get it ironed out.

I hope they are coming back to do this.

Something different on the ceiling than anywhere else in the house.

Day 80 - Drywall Day 1

It still amazes me how fast these guys can work.  Today the whole upstairs was drywalled and a good portion on the main floor as well.  It's great to see the rooms coming together.  Jenn also e-mailed about the date for choosing our paint colors.  We are going to be working directly with the painter which will void the paint touch up required by Wayne Homes if there is a drywall repair needed but it's still worth it due to Wayne Homes markup on paint.

Day 79 - Gutters Installed

The gutters were installed today but Jenn isn't happy about the placement of the downspouts.  Also looks like the heating and cooling guys were out as well.  Here are some pictures.

Jenn really hates this one and I'd have to agree. 

Day 76 - Drywall Delivered

Today we came home a little early to find two massive trucks delivering a ton of drywall.  It's in every room of the house and they even brought it in through windows.  I've never seen such large long pieces of drywall.  One of the guys noticed me taking a picture and came over to say hi. 

Our FM also gave us news that the Cleveland City of Water approved the interior hard piping of the water line away from the door.

Never noticed this before.  Looks like cardboard on the roofline of the backside of the house only.

Day 75 - Insulation Inspection

Today was the insulation but it did not pass due to one area that was exposed to a cold air return (picture below).  I also noticed today that the light by the side door to the garage is not right (my FM noticed too and will get it fixed).  I also noticed that there was a piece of insulation missing from the garage.  Lastly there is a wire on the outside of the wall that I think is for the fireplace switch but it looks odd.

You can see that the insulation from the bathroom on the other side of this wall will be a problem with this area reserved as a cold air return,
