Today our painter was out and we discussed many options for the fireplace mantle, window seat, and barn doors. We ended up deciding to do the fireplace mantle all white, the window seat white on the outside and clear stain on the inside, and clear stain on the barn doors.
I also noticed that there was another outlet covered up in the loft space that contained ethernet/cable lines. Our FM noted that he would take care of that.

Day 142 - Furnace On

Day 138 - Gas Meter
They installed the gas meter today which hopefully means heat in the house very soon. Just in time too as it's getting pretty cold out. We also had some visitors by the house and we even made a cardboard cutout of where the new big screen TV will go.

Day 137 - Replacement Cabinets Delivered
Looks like the two cabinets we were waiting on were delivered. Gas meter is scheduled to be installed tomorrow and our FM is working on getting the cabinets in and the furnace hardwired so we get heat. Things are starting to come together.

Day 136 - Gas Line
They finally came today and put the gas line in. This should allow us to get heat in the house and get everything else going as well.

Day 134 - New Schedule
Nothing really happened over the holidays but we did get an updated schedule from our FM:
- Replacement cabinets should be in this week or next
- Once those are installed we can get ready for flooring
- Gas line should be installed by 12/30 per Columbia Gas
- Storm laterals to be installed over the next week (had to find a new excavator as ours stopped responding to calls/e-mails)
- Next week we put in the gas meter and start up the furnace (heat is essential)
- Painter should be by 1/6-1/8 to finish paint and staining
- Week of the 11th for final electric, final plumbing, and preparation for flooring

Day 119 - Looking at New Bathroom Countertops
We're still unhappy with the bathroom counter-tops after giving it some time. We went over to the Norton design center to take a look at our options. As normal the wife still can't make up her mind ut we're waiting on some pricing before we make a final decision.
